Direct Services
Each loved one is unique and therefore we believe it is our job to design intervention programs that are individualized to their specific needs. Our team continually assesses each individuals needs to create a specialized program for each individual. Our highly skilled staff members are trained in a wide range of ABA methods so that they have many options to find the intervention that works best to meet your loved one’s specific needs. We are happy to provide direct 1 to 1 ABA therapy and social skill groups.

Consultation & Training
We offer a wide range of educational and professional development opportunities for parents, families and school districts in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis and can be designed to cover a wide range of topics. These services can be tailored to meet your individualized needs and are designed to provide empowerment for working with persons who need additional support.

School Consulting
We offer Applied Behavior Analysis Services for public or private school settings and also contracts with schools who are seeking consultation, staff training, or individual 1:1 student support. We are able to provide services which address needs such as behavioral assessments, teacher and staff training, modification of curriculum, social skills facilitation, program development, and ongoing supervision.
Consulting Services May Include:
• Classroom set-up to reduce the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors
• Data collection to identify why behaviors occur
• Development of behavior protocols
• Staff training to implement behavior protocols
• A dedicated BCBA to analyze data and adjust protocols
• Collaboration throughout the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, including:
• Construction of IEP goals and objectives
• Assisting in the implementation of the goals in the home and school settings
• Reporting of progress
General staff training on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
• Management of problem behaviors in the classroom
• How to develop effective behavior intervention plans
• How to follow through with behavior intervention plans
• Identifying the functions of maladaptive behaviors
• Custom trainings to accommodate your schools needs

Supervision & Mentorship
ABA supervision and mentorship plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and
effectiveness of behavior-analytic interventions and shaping professional
development. We know the importance of having more qualified professionals to
contribute to the overall advancement of the ABA field. Therefore, we seek to
support ABA practitioners with the tools and skills needed to be effective,
competent, and ethical practitioners.
Fieldwork Supervision
We provide comprehensive training following the Behavior Analysis
Certification Boards (BACB) task list to those seeking to become Registered
Behavior Technicians, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, and Board
Certified Behavior Analyst.
First year BCBA Mentorship
We provide one-on-one guidance and expertise to serve as a foundation for
encouraging critical thinking skills, ethical decision-making, and a deeper
understanding of the application of ABA to first year BCBAs.
Through a supportive mentorship process, first-year BCBAs gain the
necessary knowledge and competencies to navigate the complexities of
ABA to foster their growth as a new BCBA and ultimately contributing to the advancement and integrity of the field.

Parents
We offer support during the period of waiting for ABA services to begin with a
designated company or ongoing support after treatment has been discontinued
This includes personalized recommendations, strategies, and collaboration with other service providers.

Businesses (Organizational Behavior Management)
Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) is a sub-discipline of ABA, which
focuses on assessing and changing the work environment to improve employee
performance and workplace culture.
We provide services to a variety of industries (e.g., health care, human services,
education, government, nonprofits, manufacturing, financial services, retail) to
achieve meaningful behavior change and improvement in business outcomes. We
aim to assist in change initiatives, develop and retain staff, support business –

Dr. Tranika Jefferson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA
is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral, and consultant to schools and Home and Community-based Services (HCS) organizations in the Houston, TX metropolitan area. She is the Founder and CEO of The Behavioral Wellness Academy, PLLC. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a MS in Juvenile Forensic Psychology, and a BS in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Juvenile Justice, both from Prairie View A&M University.
